The Election Aftermath

  1. I have a question. In the dream by Rick Wile’s daughter, it was a female angel that warned them.

I seem to possibly remember a female angel one time in scripture (not sure), but all the messengers of the Lord that I am aware of are “male”.

It puts a bit of a check in my thinking, but unsure how to address this thought.

    Thanks Watchman, be safe.

    • Hi Phyllis,

While there is no reference in Scripture that specially states that there are male and female angels, the following verses do seem to allude to the fact that angels of both sexes were created since they do not ‘marry’ in Heaven. If all the angels were ‘male’, why would God need to state that ‘male angels’ do not marry in Heaven?

      Matthew 22:30

30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Then, in this verse it doesn’t state the ‘sex’ of the angels, only that we can entertain a ‘stranger’ not being aware that it is an angel. That does seem to apply to both sexes, since ‘strangers’ do appear in both male and female form.

      Hebrews 13:2
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Of course, the first and final conclusion of all this must be with the following verse that shows that angels can reproduce on earth, but not in Heaven. These were the ‘fallen angels’ that had intercourse with human women.

      Genesis 6:4
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

      • Thanks, Watchman. As usually, you helped clarify for me a great deal. While the “Watchers” were all male to mate with earthly women, enteraining strangers and angels not marrying in heaven does make a lot of sense to me now.

You always use scripture to make the way more clear, and I am very grateful for that.

        Be safe, you and yours.

        Phyllis
