Nothing To Hide
Some people have expressed that I might have something to hide by using the handle, “Watchman33”, instead of my real legal name on my website and at the end of the articles that have been posted there. That simply isn’t true, since I’ve revealed within the articles the book that I wrote and published in 1990, and my name as well. However, some evidently haven’t read that article and still might believe that I’m hiding behind the “Watchman33” handle for some reason. Therefore, I’ve made a decision to open up the ‘personal life’ of the author to anyone who is a true “born-again” believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, who has enjoyed reading my articles, and might like to know a little more about the author. So if you would like to become a ‘Facebook friend’, then just send me a ‘friend request’ by using my e-mail address to find me in the search box on Facebook. garyblevins33@yahoo.com Facebook is not the proper place to ask questions or make comments regarding any of my posts, that should be reserved for the website itself under the article in question since the material being addressed would be found there and not on my Facebook page.
No Place To Hide
Yes, I’m aware that everything on Facebook is being checked and logged into the database of several “National Security Agencies”, but so are your cell phone conversations, private e-mail messages; and practically everything else that you do in life is being recorded and stored in a database by someone somewhere! So, if you’re concerned that Facebook might breach your privacy, then I’ve got news for you, it has already been ‘breached’ many times even if you don’t have a Facebook Account! Getting off the ‘grid’ today is virtually impossible unless you have knowledge about doing so that I’m unaware of. So, relax, enjoy the ride that we are all on while it lasts, as it will eventually end at some point in time with or without Facebook.
Banding Together For Strength In Numbers
Consider four things that are wise upon the face of the earth and how that should affect, as Christian believers, our plans for the future.
Proverbs 30:24-28
24 There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise:
25 The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;
26 The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;
27 The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands;
28 The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings’ palaces.
Knowing The Reader
Becoming ‘friends’ on Facebook will also allow me to know more about those who find my articles to be of interest. Yes, I’m interested in knowing more about my true ‘Christian friends’ and their families as well, since we all belong to the same family if you have been ‘born-again’ into God’s Kingdom. We are then all ‘citizens’ of a Royal Nation, not an earthly one, as many the those who read the articles come from all around the globe!

Fair Warning
I’m just a ‘normal Christian’ guy who probably leads a ‘lifestyle’ much like you and most of the Christians friends you already know, love, and respect for who they are or have become in your life. My prayer is that you will accept my friendship on the same basis, knowing full-well that I’m not the “Perfect Man”, as there has only been one in all of history! Watchman - Declare What You See! 
You have made yourself known to anyone who reads your articles, Watchman. You do not have to go to extremes to “be open” via FB. Someone is bound to say too much “liking you” you there, and ruin it for you and others.
Anyone who reads these articles can see your heart, your belief in the One True God, and the veracity of His Holy Word.
Perhaps just put the links of the articles on this site that your books, name is opening mentioned? I believe someone recently asked if you were Gary Blevins, and you were totally honest about it.
I have no qualms whatsoever who you are…you are my brother-in-Christ, and indeed a faithful watchman on the wall.

Thank you Phyllis, but not everybody reads all the articles posted. Some seem to ‘pick and choose’ those that they have an interest in reading. Therefore, I felt it was appropriate to show that I’m an ‘open book’ with my life, not ashamed of anything that I post, and I’m certainly not hiding under an assumed name in order to remain a mystery. My reasons for using “Watchman33” is because I feel that my ‘calling’ is as a “Watchman”, and that the thrust of my work is to call attention to what’s being presented, not to the one posting the articles. Nevertheless, there are those who feel if you don’t sign your name after each article you post, then you must have something to hide.
At least any reader, who desires to know, will now have access to who I am, where I live, my family and friends, and the overall status of my life. I’m not some ‘puffed up’ ego maniac trying to build a large following, a ministry or church, or receive any type of “gifts” or “offerings” for the work that I’m called to do. It is being offered totally free to anyone who has the desire to read and the ability to comprehend what they are reading.
Thank You for you continued support (non-financial) of my work Phyllis, it does mean a lot to know that people are receiving the articles in the spirit that they were written…

hello watchman , or should I say aka gary , sharing the word of God with people should be everything they should desire but apparently not , and it sounds more like a psyop to me but of course thats just me and if your watchman series of articles are not good enough for them and they want to know your whole life , that is pathetic and they should just continue on with their facebook and myspace and infragard programs at least thats my opinion . so as far as i’m concerned they should probably listen to the so called government run christen TV channels. keep up the good work watchman you know your on target when you start getting flack. chuck c

Thanks Chuck, There always seems to be someone who doesn’t read all the articles, and therefore has no idea that I did reveal my true identity in at least one regarding my book. Certainly have enjoyed your encouragement all along the way!
